Brought up in France, he was accepted at age 13 into a part-time school for musicians working in partnership with the Paris Conservatoire.
As a violinist, he has explored many different styles. He studied and performed for four years under the guidance of tango musician Juan-José Mossalini.

He is currently studying jazz with Christian Garrick at the RCM and performs regularly in London.

As a classical musician, he performed as a soloist at the age of 15 with the Gennevilliers Symphony Orchestra. He has participated in master classes taught by violinists including Marianne Piketty, Joseph Pontecelli and Noémie Schindler. Christopher is a scholar of the Royal College of Music. He is currently playing on a Giuseppe Sgarbi Violin from 1880, kindly loaned by the Harrison Franck Foundation.

‘I am very grateful to the Harrison-Franck Foundation for having the Giuseppa Sgarbi violin on loan. It is a real pleasure playing this beautiful violin which projects a very colourful tone especially on the lower register whilst still being very well balanced. After only a few months this violin has allowed me to develop new aspects of my playing and I feel there is still a lot to be discovered.’
