Morane began her musical studies at the Conservatoire Regional de Nancy with Marthe Tercieux for the violin and Claude Fourcade for the piano. Passionate about the orchestra, she chose the violin. She worked in Paris with Jean Lénert at the Schola Cantorum then Suzanne Gessner at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Paris.
After obtaining the Diplôme National Supérieur Professionnel de Musicien (DNSPM) and a degree in Musicology from Sorbonne-Université in 2012, Morane studied in London with Jacqueline Ross at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. She graduated and obtained her Master of Music in 2014 and the Guildhall Artists Fellowship in 2016.
During her studies, she won 3 orchestra academies positions; the Orchestre de Paris (2011), the London Symphony Orchestra (String Scheme Experience, 2012) and the London Philharmonic Orchestra (Foyle Future Firsts, 2014). She began working with these last two orchestras shortly after completing her course.
She also gained experience as a concertmaster: during her training with the PSPBB Orchestra in Paris and the Guildhall Symphony Orchestra (dir. Gianadrea Noseda, Takuo Yuasa), then professionally with Arch Sinfonia (dir. Chloé Van Soeterstède), the London International Chamber Orchestra, Multi-Story Orchestra and the BBC Symphony Orchestra in December 2022.
Morane has worked for over ten years with the best British orchestras: the London Symphony Orchestra (under the direction of Sir Simon Rattle, Sir Antonio Pappano, Gianandrea Noseda, Valeri Gergiev, etc.) in London, but also during tours in Europe, Asia (Japan, China, Korea, etc.), South America (Argentina, Chile, Colombia, etc.), the United States and, more recently, Australia. She has also worked with the London Philharmonic Orchestra (conducted by Vladimir Jurowski), the BBC Symphony Orchestra, the Chamber Orchestra Of London (COOL Music), with whom she has participated in numerous recordings, the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (conducted by Andris Nelsons and Kazuki Yamada), the Royal Northern Sinfonia, the Philharmonia Orchestra, etc. In France, she has worked regularly since 2023 with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France and the Orchestre de Paris.
After over a decade in the U.K., Morane decided to move back to France and shortly after won a position at the Orchestre de Paris – she is now a proud member of the orchestra since August 2024.
Morane is also passionate about other repertoires and has worked with Les Siècles (conducted by François-Xavier Roth) and the Orchestre Révolutionnaire et Romantique (conducted by Sir John Eliot Gardiner), of which she has been a member and guest co-leader.

‘I wanted to share with you that thanks to your amazing violin, my first two auditions back after Covid have been a success! I have got a trial with LPO, tutti 1st violin (the audition was in November 2021) and only just a few days ago, a trial for the N.3 1st violin position of the BBC Symphony Orchestra. I’m very proud and grateful to be able to play this great violin, so a huge thank you from me!’
